Day 01: Haridwar - Guptkashi

Distance: 210 km | Travel Time: 7–8 Hours | Altitude: 1,319 m
Upon arrival at Haridwar Railway Station, begin your journey to Guptkashi. Enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful valleys of Uttarakhand. On reaching Guptkashi, check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, visit the sacred Ardh Narishwar Temple and experience the peaceful spiritual atmosphere.
About Guptkashi:
Guptkashi, meaning “Hidden Kashi,” is an important pilgrimage town associated with Lord Shiva. According to legend, Lord Shiva stayed here while avoiding the Pandavas before finally appearing at Kedarnath. The town continues to hold great religious significance and serves as an important stop for pilgrims visiting the Kedarnath region.
Weather: Summer temperatures usually range between 25°C and 30°C, while winters are cold and pleasant.

Day 02: Guptkashi - Kedarnath
Guptkashi – Kedarnath
Distance: 30 km Drive + 19 km Trek
Early in the morning, drive to Sonprayag and continue to Gaurikund by local shuttle service (at your own expense). From Gaurikund, begin the trek to Kedarnath. Pilgrims can choose to travel on foot or hire a pony or palki at an additional cost. Carry essential items such as warm clothing, personal medicines, and basic toiletries for the overnight stay.
Upon arrival, visit the sacred Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, surrounded by the breathtaking Himalayan peaks.
About Kedarnath:
Kedarnath is one of the holiest shrines in India and an important part of the Panch Kedar pilgrimage circuit. Hindu mythology states that Lord Shiva appeared here in the form of a bull while avoiding the Pandavas. The temple’s spiritual significance and stunning mountain setting make it a truly unforgettable destination.

Day 03: Kedarnath – Guptkashi

Distance: 19 km Trek + 30 km Drive
Begin your day early with a visit to Kedarnath Temple for morning darshan and prayers. The peaceful atmosphere of the temple during the early hours offers a truly spiritual experience.
After seeking blessings, start the trek down to Gaurikund. From there, travel to Sonprayag by local shuttle service (at your own expense) and continue your drive to Guptkashi.
Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax after the day’s journey.

Day 04: Guptkashi - Badrinath

Distance: 210 km | Travel Time: 7–8 Hours | Altitude: 3,133 m
After breakfast, drive to Badrinath via Joshimath, passing through beautiful Himalayan landscapes. On arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit the sacred Badrinath Temple and attend the divine aarti.
Badrinath is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in India, situated between the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges with the magnificent Neelkanth Peak overlooking the valley.

Tapt Kund, the natural hot water spring near the temple
Narad Kund and Brahma Kapal
Charan Paduka and Mata Murti Temple
Mana Village, the last village on the Indian border
Vyas Gufa, Bhim Pul, and Vasundhara Falls

Day 05: Badrinath – Rudraprayag
Badrinath – Rudraprayag / Kirtinagar
Distance: 160 km to Rudraprayag | 190 km to Kirtinagar
Begin the day with a holy bath at Tapt Kund followed by darshan at the sacred Badrinath Temple. Pilgrims may also perform ancestral rituals at Brahma Kapal. Later, explore nearby attractions such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Charan Paduka, Bhim Pul, and the origin of the Saraswati River.
After sightseeing, drive towards Rudraprayag or Kirtinagar via Joshimath. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax.
About Joshimath:
Joshimath is an important spiritual center and the winter seat of Lord Badrinath. Established by Adi Shankaracharya, it is home to the famous Narsingh Temple and holds great significance in Hindu tradition.
Overnight Stay: Rudraprayag / Kirtinagar
Day 06: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar (160kms/5hr) / Kirtinagar – Rishikesh - Haridwar (135kms/4hr)

After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh, a peaceful town located on the banks of the holy Ganga River and surrounded by scenic hills. Known as the Yoga Capital of the World, Rishikesh attracts pilgrims and travelers from across the globe.
